My one-on-one sessions provide a safe environment for the individual and therapist to create specific goals that align with the whole well-being of the student-athlete. These range from specific sports performance concerns to other areas of life that can cause difficulties, such as injuries, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, school, other relationships, and more.
My group counseling options give student-athletes a chance to connect with other peers who face similar challenges in their sport. Sometimes athletes can feel like they're in their struggles alone, but this is not the case. These groups create a community where we can lean on each other while learning specific coping skills and techniques
My group counseling options give student-athletes a chance to connect with other peers who face similar challenges in their sport. Sometimes athletes can feel like they're in their struggles alone, but this is not the case. These groups create a community where we can lean on each other while learning specific coping skills and techniques to help sport performance struggles and general well-being. Additionally, we cover other critical areas that youth face in today's society, like, substance use, self-image, and suicide prevention.
Each group will run periodically throughout the year and run weekly for 8-week cycles.

My workshops are taught through a curriculum that's built from research, professional training, and life experience that meets the needs of the top struggles student-athletes face. Each student-athlete will walk away with a better understanding of how their emotions affect them and pliable skills to help regulate intense and unhelpful emotions. I teach strategies that elite athletes use to achieve peak performance. They will learn ways to increase mental toughness, confidence, focus, motivation, goal-setting, and how to keep their sport fun.
